Welcome back to Union Park, Chicago with the 2012 Pitchfork Festival's official app. A festival unlike any other deserves an app unlike any other. And it's yours -- free. Powered by DIACARTA, the Pitchfork Festival App will allow you to plan out your day by selecting bands from the official schedule and placing them around the clock. To see what bands are playing and on which stage, simply tap the Schedule button. If you see a band you want to add to your schedule, touch the plus button. Share what band you are watching, or what your day looks like on facebook and twitter. Learn more about each artist by tapping on the artist image to go the Artist Page. See the festival grounds and where things are by tapping the map button. Get an alert 15 minutes before the shows on your schedule. That means you won't miss your favorite band-no matter how much fun you're having. And it won't cost you a penny.
